I Caught on Fire Last Night

Civil War Man
A few weeks ago boingboing had a post about photographs of Civil War injuries. Looking through the photographs I felt compelled to sketch and eventually paint one of the men. I’m pretty happy with the result and am planning on having a collection of men’s portraits on my wall.
